About Us:
DEFEND is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization committed to reducing online risks for children and vulnerable individuals. We focus on education, advocacy, and the development of safer online spaces. Our Education Team creates video content to educate the public on online safety.
Role Description:
We are looking for a Post Production Producer to join our education team. In this role, you’ll guide the editorial choices of our video editors and oversee the post-production process for educational video projects. We are open to training the right candidate who is organized, communicative, and passionate about our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and collaborate on Education Team video projects, including educational content on online safety for children.
Oversee the sourcing of stock footage (primarily via Artgrid) and create editing plans for our editors (we have two).
Communicate with team leadership about any project needs or challenges.
Manage timelines and work independently to deliver high-quality video content on time.
Qualifications:
Passion for DEFEND’s mission to protect children and vulnerable people online.
Strong interest in post-production work; experience is a plus but not required.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with leadership and editing teams.
